blink.gif hi,

I have purchased a brand new computer directly from HP. It is an HP Paviion a 6000y with Windows Vista home premium. Also included was Roxio creator 9, express labeler and My DVD Basic 9. The first two works great but when I open My DVD Basic 9 I get this error.

Video 9 has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a salution is available. Then it has a button that says close program and I click on that and it closes the program. I cannot seem to fix the problem. Any Suggestions?

Have you contacted HP Tech Support?

The reason for asking is that HP modified the basic program and they are supposed to support it (we don't know just what they did so solutions that may work for users of the full program mightn't work for you)

Again, there could be a clash with another program that is installed but, again, HP are the only ones who would know that

smile.gif I contacted HP and they took over my computer remotely and fixed the problem. Looks like they did the same thing I did only cleaned out the Prefetch and temp folder first. uninstall then install. It is working great now.

That happened with someone else and it was a post by a HP guy who put us on the right track there so the credit belongs to him really

Glad it's working for you
