I am trying to load my AVCHD film into video wave...

WHen I try to load it, it says it must convert the file...

I say ok...

and then it says

ERROR BUILDING GRAPH

and I am done...

This is the 3rd issue I have had in less than a month, not one thing has worked out of the box, I have had to come here to try and get this software to operate sad.gif

Time consuming and depressing...

I am almost done with ROXIO products forever

I looked through the whole thread and was unable to fix the problem...I have updated all my drivers for my video card..I have Direct X 9

Still get error building graph when trying to open M2ts file into the video wave...

This is really fustrating as I bought this program to specifically handle this and i have had nothing but trouble...

Is there a way to covert the m2ts to a file format that will actually work in this program before opening it?

isn't it illegal to claim your product can handle a certain type of format...but in actuality it can not?

Are there any other solutions that will not cost me another few hundred dollars?

Not using that format, I can't say in all honesty whether or not the suite can handle it

Another suggestion I've found is this

"...You'll need to install PowerDVD7 to get the AVCHD decoder on your system. I've tried others and this one has been the most reliable.

TMPGEnc 4.0 Express is what I use to translate the M2TS files my SR1 creates. It's not the best solution in the world, but until a full-blown editor like Vegas or Premiere support reading the M2TS files it's pretty much the best and only way to handle M2TS files...."
