If you have the HP modified version, you will have to go through HP tech support - it is modified by them and no-one here really knows too much about it.
If it's the full suite, then you can contact Roxio tech support - they will ask for credit card details, but if it's an install problem they won't bill you for it

Firstly, check and see if the drive is detected by Vista using the Computer Management / Disk Management utility. I've had Vista loose my drive 2X and both times it was actually detected and functioning but for some reason Vista simply didn't assign a drive letter to the drive. Right click the drive and change/assign it a drive letter. Worked both times for me.
Secondly, the OEM absolutely will not provide any support beyond un/re-installation of the application. Beyond that it's what we call the Y.O.Y.O principal. You're On Your Own !
