OK, being that this is my first post, I want to let you all know that I computer illiterate. That being said, I need help with something.

I just purchased My DVD 9 Studio and installed it. I started to work on editing a movie when it decided to freeze up on me. It froze when I wanted to edit the chapters and add chapter menus. I then decided to not add the chapter menus. After some minor editing, I went to burn the DVD. After validating my project, it froze. No message or anything. I went to cancel the project and it was non responsive.

Being that I am computer illiterate, I need step by step help to try to correct this problem. Can any of you fine folk help me? Thanks in advance.

List your system specs, similar to the way I have them listed in my signature.

If you don't know what your system specs are, you can download Belarc Advisor, a free utility that will let you know what your system specs are.

This looks like your problem

"6150 LE [Display adapter]"

That particular chipset just isn't man enough to handle rendering and you may be better getting a dedicated video card (presuming that's onboard graphics)

You could try updating the drivers from nVidia and using software rendering rather than hardware
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

I would need a link for the drivers. I did do a few updates but that lead to my computer crashing. I had to do a system recovery and luckily I had backed up my stuff last week. Anywho, can you provide me with a link to those drivers?

www.nvidia.com (believe it or not) wink.gif

Howqever, I do have to say that even updating drivers mightn't cure the problem as that chipset is more low-end
