Melissa, please help us by giving us more detail such as how you are burning the files and your system specs. If burning directly to disc, you might try burning to an image file first then burning the resulting image file to disc.

I open my video project that I already created, click on the burn button and get a message that videowave 9 has stopped working and program will be closed.
If I go to DVD Express
I get Rox Wizard Launcher has stopped working and program will be closed.
I don't want to uninstall and reinstall since the first time I installed the software, it deleted my drives.

I am having the same problem, Vista Home Premium, EMC-9. I just click on the burn icon and then I get the same warning as Melissa. I don't see an option to create an image file???? I'm hoping you have the answer for both of us.

Do you have the OEM version or was this a full install? If the OEM version, you might have better luck contacting the company you bought the computer from.
With that in mind, if you are able to burn an ISO, it would look something like the enclosed
If you don't see this when you click 'Burn', then the OEM version must not allow it. I'm pretty sure from what I've read so far from those with the OEM version that this is possible.

Full install. Have already taken computer back to store so they can reinstall drives that roxio deleted.
It's no allowing me to click on any options in the Burn Screen. The error pops up right away and then closes program.

First, let's get your drives back. Give this fix a try and see if that works.....reboot after running this.

EMC-9 was part of the software bundle with Vista. I get the window you provided but I am unable to do anything before the "Video Wave -9 stopped working" pops up. I have defraged, eliminated other software, did disc cleanup, run anti virus, and spyware (as advised by automated tech support). Still no luck????

Vista didn't come with any bundled software, but as Daithi said, your computer did.

We have no way of knowing what way they modified the program or what parts they included

So you're saying that Roxio doesn't care what HP, Compaq or Dell do with the software that bears Roxio's name ? I find that a little bewildering.

That's not what he's saying. The price that HP, Dell etc. get 'lite' software from Roxio (and others) does not include support (except in the case of Dell I believe). So, Roxio doesn't support it. Example: tv tuners are added and the capture portion of Roxio is fine tuned to work with that OEM tuner. Roxio isn't likely to let OEM's do what they want with their software. It wouldn't be Roxio any longer.

Interesting. I never think of OEM's as using special hardware these days. I thought that was left behind in the early 90's. My HP uses an ATI powered motherboard with an AMD 64 processor and an nVidia video card. I could have bought everything at Newegg but combined with a flat panel, the price was quite competitive. Frankly if I were Roxio, I wouldn't let some OEM publish softwares using my brand without me reviewing the changes that they made to it.

However, part of the deal in that is that the OEM has to provide the tech support (because it's been modified it isn't the same program that any of us use unless we happen to have the same version)
