Is it possible to capture streaming video/audio using the Easy Media Creator 9 software?
I'm trying to download some streaming news clips that are on the web for my personal use.
If Easy Media Creator cannot do this, would someone recommend some software that you found useful to capture video streams?
Thanks in advance.

You can't capture streaming video with EMC 9, but audio can be captured if your sound card supports it. You'll have to wait for a responce from someone else as to what other programs are good for this.

I understand that the free software "Super" can do this.

There is nothing wrong with your Television. Do not attempt to adjust the picture.
We are now controlling the transmission. We control the horizontal and the vertical.
We can deluge you with a thousand channels or expand one single image to crystal clarity... and beyond.
We can shape your vision to anything our imagination can conceive.
For the next hour we will control all that you see and hear.
You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the deepest mind
to the Outer Limits.

I did not see that as one of the features of Super.
If you have a video card where you can input a TV signal, did that come with some capture software? You might want to read this; it also links to this.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Went to Super site... You have to read the "help file to download the program" otherwise you go into a loop and no download....
The description mentions downloading streaming video from the internet is possible.
Once done you can then use EMC9 to edit it.
Downloading is taking quite some time with broadband....
Hope the program works!!!!!
