No Sound

I am trying to record streaming audio. I seem to have captured it but when I ty to play the file in MY DOCUMENTS I  donot get any sound. I'm trying to play it in WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER. There is a slight movement in the sound line but no sound. I am new to this and would appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks

If you are recording something then there should be a major movement in the meters.It could be that you're not using the correct input.
What application are you using to capture?What input do you have it set to?Can you hear the music while you're capturing?Do you have a sound card or is it built in to the motherboard?These are all questions that will help try and figure this out.

Is the "streaming audio" you're talking about streaming from your computer? For example, are you trying to record audio from an online radio stream or something?
Also, what program are you useing to capture the audio? The catagory of "Sonic Applications" is alittle to general to give you any definate answers.
