Good day,
I have my Roxio Creator DE 9 With my new Dell Dimension C521, from the very begining we dind’t start very well together. I can not beliewe that I am asking for help for such thing, but I give up.
I am trying to do in my opinion something quilte simple:

To create image of one particular folder which is on my DVD/CD-RW drive E: (or any folder from hard drive) and safe that image on my hard drive C:

Of course I've red in help, that I have to go to Data/Data Disc, to choose folders and files, which I want to burn, and in order to do an image just have to choose my hard drive instead of  DVD/CD-RW. Everything was OK til i have to choose my hard drive C: in Destination Selection field was staying my DVD/CD-RW drive and NO WAY to change it or browse.

May be i am doing something wrong, but anyway I can not handle that.
Please Help!

PS. I've forgot I am with Windows VISTA

Vista or XP it doesn't matter in this case. You should be in Creator Classic. Then at the burn screen uncheck your cd drive and check "save disc image file".From here you can also select where to save the file.

Just a thought. If you're doing this from the Home app then you choose browse from the drop down, select a location to save to and it will automatically be an image file.Personally,I'd use Creator Classic.

Unfortunately my computer was delivered with Roxio Creator Home and I've red same as you telling me in help, but there is no drop down menu at least is not there where i think should be (down in the middle field).
Should I change software?

PS I try to add picture, but I am not sure how to derive its URL and should i share it first.

Ok,does what you see look like this?If so,don't you have the browse choice? If not then one of 2 things may be happening.Either you have a bad installation or the version you got from Dell may not have that feature enabled.

Yes  smile.gif  exactly you are straight to the point. I get this option when I am in Copy menu, but not in Data menu
Is it possible to do something?

Looking at the last image I added,do you see the yellow box.See where it says "to save this disc as a disc image....."?Do you see that part on your screen when you try to burn your data?

Yes, I have completely same screen, and yellow fields are with same content. There are two differences:
1) Program screen is same but is Roxio Creator DE (Roxio Creator DE Version: 9.0.116)
2) Destination Selection field is showing only my DVD/CD-RW drive without any option to change it

If you have the same screen then when you're in the Home app, right below where you click data disc can you click Creator Classic? If so use it instead and see if it will let you do what I showed in the first image.
If not then I'd begin to wonder if that option isn't disabled in the version you have.Often features are disabled in OEM versions, which is what you have.
