If you have, both those wreck EMC7

You have to install Napster. You can do it through Add/Remove Programs. Scroll down to Roxio EMC 7, and click on the Change button. Then click on the Modify button. On the next screen, click on the icon to the left of Napster, and select This feature will be installed on the local hard drive.
Reboot your computer, and once you get Creator Classic to open, you can uninstall Napster, if you so desire.

I already have napster on and it has been working recently but in the last few days it has been playing up. I will try and see what happens.

If you do have those two on there, then follow Daithi's advice. Both of those break version 7 and version 8.
If, after you roll back to IE 6 and get rid of WMP 11, and it still doesn't work, first try a Repair of the software, and if that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall it.

Even if Napster is working, reinstalling it may fix the failed dragon engine.

Uninstalling the program that changed the contents does not change the file back to what it was. Only a repair install can do that. (Hopefully repair will work, rather than having to uninstall/reinstall.)
