So, I start my computer this morning and I'm greeted with a splash screen to put in my Roxio EMC 9 Suite cd to install something.
I have no idea what this is about, but I do it, and then I get a message saying that there is a network error when trying to read from D:\2C43D6.MSI.
I'm dead in the water here. Nothing works.
Any ideas?
Out of blue, Roxio won't start and won't update

Seems to have worked. It re-installed Drag-to-Disc, which I have now uninstalled and all seems well again.
Thanks!

Spoke too soon.
The problem originally started on boot up.
Now, I just tried opening Roxio and I'm having the same problem.

I went that route using the repair from the Add/Remove programs (I'm using the download package) and after the installation it ask me to reboot and got the blue screen of death after boot-up. That scared me big time, rebooted again, same thing. I recovered my system and got it back up, but EMC 9 doesn't run I get a pop-up saying that "This trail versoin has expired." I tryed running it offline hoping to get the 25 digit number to activated it again but that doesn't happen.
After reading a few postings I see that my problem originated from Norton.
When I purchased my software I downloaded two programs RoxioContentCDv9 does this have to be installed also?
Thanks in advance for any help,

The content disc doesn't have to be installed to make things work.
It does have extras for styles and other things.
