I have been trying to trouble shoot why Easy media creator 9 does not recognize the I have a drive it can use.

Easy Media 9 nor drag to disc recognize that a dvd/cd r/w drive is available on my computer for use by the various RX software, although the drive is installed and working properly under windows vista.

I have tried a number of suggestions by Roxann including the dla fix, disabled the rx filter, deleted the high and low limit registry entry's and reset them and finally just tried removing drag to disc from my system altogether. None of these have worked and roxanne ran out of sugestions.

Oh, I have also removed the program(s) and reinstalled them twice!!!!!

I know the obvious answer is wait for the vista certified patch and see if that helps, but I am hoping for some ideas to try with the software I have right now.

You could give this patch a try and see if that helps.

Works fine for me in Vista though I seem to be one of the few that post about it.
