Does the new version of EMC allow editing and outputting High definition 1920*1080 i/p 25fps PAL files with dolby digital sound? Which of the suites that allow doing that?
EMC 9 support outputting HD PAL 25fps files?

EMC 9 does accept HD video.

The reason I'm asking is to make sure it supports outputting PAL and Dolby digital... as I've just purchased roxio photosuite videowave 8 premium standalone package (without full EMC) and I did the purchase from UK roxio site (paying extra than US version) assuming that UK is a PAL region just to find out that it doesn't allow you to choose anything for output rather than the NTSC 30fps/ mpeg audio default settings... that's why I'm wondering if EMC 9 does the same thing???

I have not purchased any of the stripped down Roxio products, but I have NEVER seen any posts saying that there was no PAL output. All of the EMC suites let you make your productions as either NTSC or PAL.
However, none of the suites supports Dolby audio output.

As Bruce says, there is no Dolby output but all Roxio suites down the line have supported the 625 line 25 Hz PAL colour subsystem and work with no problems at all

Does the new version of EMC allow editing and outputting High definition 1920*1080 i/p 25fps PAL files with dolby digital sound? Which of the suites that allow doing that?
alright I was wrong about the videowave suite... I used to choose the high definition preset which is non changable... when I chose user defined as my purpose it allowed me to edit profiles and make new profiles with whatever system I need... furthermore it allows to select dolby digital as the sound encoding profile however by testing choosing dolby digital makes the output muted for me so far... no big deel... thanks everyone....

Videowave/MyDVD support Dolby AC3 2 channel only.
If your file is 5.1 surround sound, it should be converted to 2 channel.
