After adding audio files they are so badly scratchy & crackling on playback, the music is almost inaudible. I have re-installed program twice & added upgraded patch twice, but still the problem is there on ANY music file I add (usually mp3's). The music files are perfectly fine when played anywhere else.  sad.gif What else can I do to repair this defect?java script:emoticon(':(', 'smid_2')

Well Slider, you just threw a curve ball.  You might want to start with what program you are using and the source of the files you are using.
