I have a VAIO computer for HDV editing and BDMV authoring. Authored BDMV discs with Ulead and Cyberlink PowerProducer 4. These play back fine on my computers InterVideo Win DVD BD for VAIO, but the two BDMV discs created with Roxio DVDit Pro HD will not play back even tho I have the current version of Win DVD BD. The Roxio authored discs do play beautifully on Pioneer and Panasonic Blu-ray players at the computer stores. Any suggestions? I just purchased a VAIO laptop with Blu-ray for editing, authoring, burning HD, and for PLAY BACK on my HDTV. Does Roxio have BDAV play back software program that would play all my BDAV home pruduced BDAV discs?

I don't know that this will help, but "you need to download the PS3 patch from the sticky posting at the top of the forum. follow the installation instructions, burn your disc again and it should work". This patch made the DVDitProHD created blu-ray disc work on my PS3.

I see on the forum that some folks are able to play back their BDMV created in DVDit Pro HD on their computers using CyberLink Power DVD Ultra. Can anyone confirm this? I'm ready to return my unopened Sony Vaio Blu-ray equipped laptop because I can not get my BDMV discs to play on my similarly equipped SONY desktop. Roxio support had me download Cineplayer DVD decoder claiming it would do the job, but it didn't, and they kindly refunded my money...but I want something that will work desperately.

Sussessfully able to play back HD BDMV, BDAV files plus a host of other DVD's created in DVDit ProHD after downloading and installing Cyberlink PowerDVD Ultra. These two programs work together flawlessly. Now for Roxio to introduce a player that will do the same, perhaps in Roxio 10???
