Hi Everyone,
Been a long time since I was here last.  I recently had to uninstall my EMC 7.5 as I thought it was having a conflict with Norton 2007.  After installing Norton 2007, I couldn't open Roxio, so I uninstalled it. Now Iwant to install it again, and I can't find my keycode.   Does anyone have a number I can call, and hopefully they can give it me over the phone, or via email?

Ruth

I have found my keycode, in the area you suggested.  I have installed Roxio again.  NOW I can't open Norton 2007!

I started getting strange application errors from Symantec at shutdown.  After reading some posts, I uninstalled it, ran a few applications from their site, ran a scan, and then re-installed Norton.  After I did that, I couldn't open Roxio.

So I uninstalled Roxio, and have loaded it again.....Now I can't open Norton!!!   screeeaaammm!

why can't these 2 co-exist?

IE 7.

There is the problem and what media player?

If you updated to IE7 go to add and remove programs and remove 7, you will roll back to IE6.

Just to verify, you are saying to Remove IE7 in Add/Remove Programs.  After that competes, I will still have IE on my desktop but it will be version 6?

Thanks helping me...

Well, just my luck I have WMP Version 11.0.5721.5145.....I"m assuming that means Ver 11.

I have removed IE 7, am now back to IE6.

How do I revert back to previous version of WMP?

You know the stangest part about Norton when I installed Roxio back to my pc, was that Norton didn't even show on my taskbar....it's like it never booted up at all.

Will try re-installing Roxio again.

thanks,
Ruth

Well it seems everything is working fine, so far.  I have installed Roxio, again, and I can open it.  I can also open Norton 2007, as it also appeared in my taskbar.  Yipee!

One more question...

I tend to keep only what I need running in StartUp.  Roxio put Drag to Disc in my task bar.  Can I uncheck that in the Start Up tab (msconfig) without having anymore issues?

Thanks for your help.

Ruth

Most folks should not even use D2D!

You can turn it off in StartUp and if you do need to use it sometime, just start it through the Start Menu ~ All Programs ~ Roxio ~ Drag to Disc.

Yes.  You can uncheck DragtoDisk in your Startup tab without causing problems.   In fact, it might help to not have it start automatically.

I will get rid of it in startup.  I have never used it before.  Thanks everyone for your help.  I hope this IE restore to v6 has solved my problems.  You saved me a trip to the store, I was planning on bringing my pc in for work.
