why can't i burn divx files using EMC 9? i can only burn .avi files and .wmv files. is ther a way to convert divx files to .avi or .wmv? sorry if this has already been discussed

Have you checked if you have the proper codecs installed? Are you sure it's a divx file and not an xvid file? You need separate codecs for divx and xvid files. If you do have the proper codecs installed, see this post for a possible solution.

The files are divx. I am sure i have the proper codecs installed because the files play perfectly in the divx player.
