I have a 2005 Dell edition of easy media creator with, it appears, all the modules. The Roxio program came with the computer. I am burning photos to a CD-R using various modules; DLA, COPY, DATA DISC. It appears that the photos are transferred to the CD-R ("My Computer" shows that data is on the CD-R) but I am unable to open/read the CD-R in ANY program on my computer. What am I possibly doing wrong ?
Many thanks.

What you actually have is Sonic's RecordNow package.

DLA is a packet writer and like all packet writers is the least reliable form of burning ever devised! Do not use it for anything you really want to keep!!!

Using RecordNow, a Data Disc is what you want to make.

You say you can't open any file. There must be an error message to go along with that? What does it say?

If you use Windows Explorer are the files showing on the disc? If you right click the disc and select Properties what does it say in the File System?
