I purchased a full version EMC9 late last year after successfully running v7.0-7.5 for over a year. I installed v9.0 from the CD but never really used it. Recently I had to do a re-install of my OS (XP Pro) and of course re-install all my other programs, including Roxio. The install went fine but when I search for updates, there aren't any. In other words, the CD version purchased last year was v9.0.088 and there are apparently no revisions since then as the "updater" says I'm running the latest version. Is this correct? Normally when a software CD goes to press, it is already out of date by the time it reaches the retail level. Would someone please verify the latest version and where to update it if available.

There are no updates yet. The Deluxe version was 9.05 and we keep hearing about an update for Vista compatibility issues. Just keep checking.

Still surprised that there isn't some level of update; bugs and the like. I assume the "Vista version" build will incorporate any other fixes that may have accumulated in the XP version. I'll keep checking.

" don't count on it ". like you, I installed EMC 9 (ver. 9.0.088) last year and I still haven't seen or received any updates. maybe it's just because i'm a first time user of EMC, but I can't even find the page saying "no updates available". From the programs home page, I click the link to find updates, and it sends me to the support > update page and EMC 9 is not even listed.
