Do you have Add CD Text check in the Toast Audio window? The option appears in the Options panel at the lower left part of the window.
I'm presuming the track names were displaying in the Toast Audio window before you burned the disc.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

Hey tsantee. I'm new here and preparing to buy Toast 8 and my question relates to the previous about the track names. I want to make sure that when someone puts it in their computer and let's say Windows Media Player pops up, it shows the cd name, song name, time and anything else. Does 8 do that? Thanks.

Nothing does that with audio CDs because computers don't read CD Text that is burned to the discs. Instead, computers access the online CDDB or Freedb and download track names to a file on the computer's hard drive. If multiple people are going to be receiving or buying your audio CD then you can upload the track info to CDDB. That way it will be there for automatic download. Toast can upload that information after you burn the disc and reinsert it. Toast can read the CD Text info it burns as well.
iTunes also can upload info to CDDB.
If you want track/artist/album info to appear on any computer then you should convert your music to mp3 or AAC and burn them to a data disc.

With prior versions of Toast I was able to create CDs (include CD Text) and the names, artists, album info was stored/created as well -- Toast 8 can read all this info from the prior created CDs, but not with the CDs created with Toast 8 itself. The "add CD Text" option is checked. Thoughts? Thanks!
