My previous software would allow you to burn large media folders (10G or more we'll say) for a project, and would then give you the message that you will need to use a total of 2-3 DVD disks and then complete the job (telling you when to replace the DVD's as you go)

I'm having a hard time getting this to happen, and instead an told that my session is too large for the DVD.  Is there a way around this!???  I really need to backup 10-12 gigs of wedding images, and don't know how to do this now... help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Matty11276,
break your '10-12 gigs of wedding images' into three folders. Open
creator classic under data. Burn the images to the DVD as a Data disc.

Which program are you using? Creator Classic has the ability to span discs, but you then have to use Roxio Retrieve to get the data back.  Following cdanteek's suggestion would be a more universal solution and the files can be retrieved using File Explorer.
