This is all new to me and I'm not all that tecchie.  But I'll give it a shot.  I am recording analog phone (coaching calls, etc.) audio to my PC using Roxio RecordNow! 9 Music Lab.  Usaing a RadioShack telephone recording control, a little black box that connects the phone to the computer audio input in the back of the computer tower.  Previous to Roxio, it connected the phone to a cassette tape player to record.

Am getting strong feedback in the recording, you know the sounds you get like when a micropone is too close to other equipment and buzzes.

Any ideas to help me?

Sounds like it is plugged into the microphone jack (usually pink). Try the 'input' jack. I think it is usually blue.
