Does anyone know how to make Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 copy a movie (to drive) so that it is 4.7 GB or less so it can be burned on 1 disk instead of spanning?

If it's a commercial DVD, the short answer is it won't copy it (it's illegal to do so)
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

Just a quick question here i hope. Is it correct that if you buy for instance a dvd movie, you can copy this for backup?

Nope - it's protected and any copying is illegal

Not my fault or Roxio's - blame the studio accountants and lawyers
