Can't burn image...

Ok, I think I have finished editing menus for my 1st blu-ray... I tried to burn a disc image (to burn it in Toast8 and keep a backup for our files) and I get an error message:
The disc burning process was interrupted, either because of an error or because it was cancelled
To avoid losing your project, click the «Try Again» button to try burning the disc again. You may also click the «Cancel» button and then save your project.
I have re-tried, reboot the machine,etc...
The only way I successfully created the archive, is by creating a new project and putting the assests as first play (no menus)... Could there be something wrong with my menus? It's quite simple menus (2 pages with text button created in Dvdit).
Thanks!
Marck

There are some BD specifications that weren't there for DVDs. For example, DVDs allow you to have overlapping buttons, while BD doesn't. BD also doesn't like unlinked buttons. If DVDit gave you a warning message about these prior to the burn, it can't hurt to investigate.
I don't think those are the only limitations, but those are the ones that I can recall for now.

Hi Marck,
When you re-open the project, instead of double-clicking on the .dvd-dvi file, launch DVDIt! by itself, and then open the project form within the program. Try burning the image then and see what happens.
Hope this helps.

Another thing to try is to build a volume and see if the files are correctly built.

This sounds like one of two things to me. A bad video file or overlapping menu buttons.

I finally managed to burn a image file and it worked... Can't say what happened at first though!

Hi!
I cannot andestand how this program can be a PRO, if it works only whan it want?!
I have authored a Blu-ray Disc project without any problem, burn a BD-RE disc and when I finished again, to make a back up copy on a BD-R disc, it give the TRY AGAIN or CANCEL messege all the time I try to finish it. What is going on? So it's impossible to work!
Please help me!
Peter.

I would suggest creating a "volume" first because if it doesn't work you don't waste a disc. Once I get a completed volume, use I Power2Go, Nero, etc... to burn to BD-R or BD-RE ...

going out to volume or image first is always a good idea, but you don't need to go to another program after that. DVDit Pro HD can write a disc from the current project, an image or a volume.
