I am just trying to get some input as to whether users have had good luck with TDK or Sony or both. I have been using Verbatim with good results. Luckily lately Verbatim's have been on sale.  But I need to buy some DVD's and Sony and TDK's are on sale. I have several DVD burners but the one I use primarily is a BENQ 16x Lightscribe. I also have a LG 16x Lightscribe and a Samsung 16x lightscribe on other computers. In the past I have used Philips DVD's with some less than great results. I have definitely learned to stay away from off Brands. I have had some bad results with a few off brands. thanks
ASUS A7N8X E, AMD Barton 3200+ 400FSB, 3 gig RAM, WinXP Pro, EVGA e-GeForce 7600GS 256mb AGP, Benq LightScribe DW1625 GBGA

One good way of finding out what works best on your burner is to go the the manufacturer's web site and see what they suggest/tested with. Perhaps one of those will be Sony or TDK to help you make that decision or something that will be on sale. There are web sites that tell you who actually makes the disc for Sony or TDK (mostly their own) and others. That could help you make the decision also.

This one has users rating.
