EMC9: Content CD Installation

I've just purchased EMC9 from Staples.

The content CD won't install. My computer insists that I must reboot before it will install. I have rebooted several times and the content CD still won't install.

I understand this was a problem with EMC8 (and 9 hasn't resolved it!). For EMC8 the suggestion was to load Photosuite, then to close it and THEN install the content CD.
When I tried to load Photosuite I got one of those oh-so-informative ".. encountered an error .. send a report to Microsoft", so I did.

I've tired to install EMC9 on three computers so I can get to install the content CD but on all three the same error occurs AND trying to run Photosuite results in the same error screen on all three.

Any suggestions?

Ive only gotten that error once. I know it sounds strange, but this fixed it for me.  Just run Videowave or MyDVD.  Close it down and then run the Content Install again.
