I was wondering what the advantages are to using a plain MP3 data disc or Jukebox media disc. I have usually done a data MP3 disc. Most MP3 players offer both. thanks

Jukebox loads a playlist - a straight mp3 disc doesn't (as simple as that
)
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

Well, since a data mp3 creates a list already of the songs, as well as the folders on my car radio, does creating "a media list" give additional information that a data list already provides. I did notice that when I use a data mp3 in my car mp3 player, it only reads the file name. I was just trying to figure out how differently it will read this "media" list. I suppose I will just have to create a media list, to see the difference. Since it's too simple to explain.

It seems the Jukebox media mp3 disc does nothing for my mp3 player in my car. It reads it the same whether I do a data mp3 or a jukebox media mp3. Although, after a jukebox media format, you can no longer append any more mp3's to your disc.
