Esoteric question? Why would it? It is not designed to create a music DVD that you can play on a DVD player. Did you notice the small print under the name Juke Box disc? It makes mp3 discs or DVD that will play only on your computer. A couple of options down is Quick Music DVD. It is the same as DVD Music Assiatant.
In my personal opinion only, many of the "Assistant" programs are not very good for an experienced person --that is someone who has tried something a second time.
Way back in V7.5, there was a blending of Roxio and Sonic Solutions functions because Sonic bought Roxio. Jukebox is a Sonic Systems function that works(?) from the Home page. Some people have luck with those applications, some do not.

Try it and see but why don't you just use Music Disc Creator to create your play lists?
I tried doing some things with the Assistant and didn't get very far. Not enough options.

If you have any suggestions, I'm open.
I think I will try Ulead Burn Now in the meantime; there is a 30 day free trial.

If you go to your start menu and open the program itself directly, you will almost certainly find more options available - call it a more 'advanced' version than the one you get to with 'assistant'

Ulead Burn.Now works well, but
I paid money for this Roxio suite and I'd like it to work. (Creator 8)
I uninstalled it; used a reg-cleaner to clean up the remains; ran de-frag and fix disk; and reinstalled.
So, is this normal?
When I open "Create DVD Music Disk" I get forwarded to "DVD Music Assistant"
I believe you suggested I should end someplace else?
Patience, please. donje

Yes. When you open EMC, go to the Home Applications page and select Music Disc Creator. Use that.

So again:
Thanks for the image--worth a thousand words.
And it worked: I burned a DVD +R, filled and 45 min. First time a music +R has played on my Player.
So thanks: Riches, good health, happiness, Grace and Joy be yours. don
