I created chapters, but I don't want to FORCE the viewer to go to a chapter menu.

Is there a way to make it an OPTIONAL navigation page that is accessible from the main menu, but doesn't get hit automatically when you start the movie?  Commercial DVDs work that way, right?

Thanks again.
You guys rock.

You mean like this?

Clicking on Play Movie plays the movie from the beginning to the end. Clicking on Select chapters opens the chapters menu with button for each chapter (the button names are just what I've set them as).
You can see in the left pane how the video is constructed.

Yeah - like that.
How'd you get the chapters menu at the root level?
When I create chapters, it makes it a submenu to the movie.

Thanks!

The easiest way is copy/paste the button.

Create your project
Add video file
Name this button Play or whatever
Copy it to the clipboard and then slightly move it
Paste it back and rename the second one Scenes or whatever
Right click the second one and Edit Chapters
Make sure you check create submenu , click OK

Done.  You have two buttons that 'point' to the same video file.  One plays the entire video and the second takes you to a submenu where you can choose chapters.

Whoaa!!  Who knew it could be so easy?  I've been trying to do that for months and I knew it had to be something obvious.   blink.gif
