Hello there, I have successfully transferred cassette audio tapes  to my hardrive. Does anyone know when saving this what type of file to save this as, If I wanted to play this on a cd player? I believe that most cd player play at a format that is recognized by all. Some audio files may not play at all. Many Thanks biggrin.gif

If you are going to make an Audio cd the best is probably .wav.This keeps the quality of the original.
To make a disc that will play in a cd player you need to use Music Disc Creator and create an Audio cd.This creates a disc that will put cd player compliant files on it.If you look at the completed disc with Windows Explorer you will see .cda files. If you see these than any Cd player should play the disc.
