Roxio creator LE - Dell edition increse burn speed

when i burn dvds the burn speed is only x .88 at the most but it says its target is x 8.0. how the hell do i increase it to that speed its taken absolutely ages to burn anything. please help

Contact Dell its THEIR OEM version.
