label maker program crashes. I've tried this 3 or 4 times with the same results. No messages as to why
this program crashes - it just does!

Paste where you want it and then you may change from arial font to whatever is available on your system.
If making a dvd case and you want the title of the movie to appear sideways, right click on text box and rotate left.
There does appear to be a bit of a bug in some cases (but not all) so I will make sure this gets reported.

I have just tried your suggestion. After writing the text I moved it into position within the label outline,
tried font change_ crash! Tried actually copying and repasting into position - font change - crash! Also tried
font change before moving the text - crash! Even if other fonts were added and they were not, it shouldn't
crash the application. The only fonts I have on the computer are from the windows install. I have no other burning software on this computer other than windows native burner.
I've included data from the windows event log (if you can make sense of that sort of thing)

When will this bug be fixed? Is there a workaround other than the text box thing, because that isn't working & my CDs are building up.

The text problem for Label Maker 9 has been posted several times on this forum. I also have the same problem if I try to change the text and get the message, "Label Maker is closing."
I am also having a printing problem with Label Maker 9. The label does not change position when I select a CD case insert to print on the Avery stock nor does it change position to print it on Memorex stock. I tried the "calibrate" three times, and the printout stayed the same--too far to the left. I finally decided that this must be another BUG with Label Maker 9.
I also tried selecting all and copying my imported graphic for the CD case insert to a new project. It let me "select all" but did not copy the graphic or the text into the "new project."
I finally exported the graphic as a .jpg and am going to try to use another software program to create my CD case insert.
I would appreciate any input you may have if you know how to resolve the above problems.

Read through the thread - this is a known issue and will (hopefully) be addressed in the 9.1 update whenever it arrives
