I have just produced a slide show with appx. 600 pictures. I brought it over to videowave and tried to delete/add music in the time line view. It will delete them but won't let me add any. I scrolled over to the far right to see If there were any there and there wasn't.
Any ideas ???
Thank you

In Videowave, open the Media Selector and drag the c/audio file to any audio track in Timeline mode.

Two things, delete the proxy files (top menu> tools> options> delete proxy files. Proxy files are staged files so that the program open your project faster but they can be screwed up. They will almost immediately be rebuilt with the clean information.
The second; you cannot add:
1) Music files purchased from an on-line store like iTunes.
2) Some mp3 files because of their quality. For these files, take them into Sound Editor and export them as wav files. They will work then.
Any more details that you can provide? You said that you brought the project into the program, please explain what you mean.
I assume you know that other poster?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I'm also having trouble adding songs to a slideshow. Can I transfer from Windows Media or directly from CDs?
I'm grateful for ideas and suggestions.

You should have started a new post instead of hijacking another.
Anyway, you cannot add audio directly froma CD to a slideshow, you will have to first rip it to your hard drive. I don't understand what you mean by Windows media.
Explain a bit more what you have been doing so far and what is happening.
