First off, I definitely want to use my roxio software because it's the ONLY DVD burning software on my computer that will allow me to change dvd speed before burning (it gives me the option of SP, EP, etc.)

I downloaded a bunch of episodes of a show that I want to put on disc, but when I go to the folder to chose the files, a bunch of X's show up and say I can't use that file.

Why? And how can I convert them to be able to be burned?

For example, one of the SNLs I download is "Saturday.Night.Live.2007.02.10.Forest.Whitaker.HDTV.XViD-YesTV" and it is an avi file.

Please help me.

Do you have the xvid codec? If you do and still can't import xvid or divx files, see this post.
