I also have an audio out of sync issue and can see postings about "defragging" your computer.  What exactly is that and how do I go about doing that to mine?  Please help...I'm desparately trying to get this project completed as it's already overdue.  Thanks!

Presuming you don't have a separate Utilities program installed, go to My Computer, right click on the C drive and select Properties.

Click on 'Tools' and you will see a button saying 'Defragment Now' - click that and let it finish (it may take some time if you never did it before)

What happens is that Windows is very sloppy about the order it arranges files - it fills sectors up if they're empty, then goes to the next empty sector. In the end, you have files scattered all round the hard drive and that is called 'fragmented' - Defragging moves them round so that all sections are contiguous
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

Thanks for posting that. It has some good info that may help the OP understand it better. Altho, it would have been helpful if you had noted that the link was to an article on disk defragging. A link without info about it tends to be eyed suspiciously these days, what with all the vruses, spyware and adware out there.

For a person who didn't know what defragging is, that article may be too confusing.  Perhaps something simpler like :

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defragging
or
http://www.aarp.org/learntech/computers/ho...-16-defrag.html
or
http://windows.about.com/od/troubleshooting/ss/defrag.htm

may have been more useful to the novice.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
