I got this message when I booted up my Windows XP system today: This problem was caused by Sonic Solutions CD/DVD Recording Software Component (DRVMCDB.SYS). Sonic Solutions CD/DVD Recording Software Component (DRVMCDB.SYS) was created by Sonic Solutions. What do I need to do?

Seems like many different apps add this driver when installed.Try to a repair of your installation from Add/Remove in the Control Panel.

I don't know which program you have but look for Sonic in the list.Click Change and then Repair. If there's more than one entry we'll have to know what they are to try and advise you.

Based on this thread in this section of the forum, it sounds like it's not an unknown problem. But based on the last post in that thread, it looks like you'd have to contact their Technical Support to get it squared away. When (if) you do, I would refer back to that post if needed.
