I need to convert a short MOV. clip to AVI or some other type I can add to the movie I am putting together. Any idea of a safe free file converter? or any other ideas? I am using version 1.5.545.0 if that matters.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I am always afraid to down load things from un recomended sites. My computer runs so smooth I hate to screw it up so I will download one of the programs onto an older machine first.

I don't blame you. I wasn't really recommending that you download one of the programs on the site, but they do have a lot of good information about video editing and converting files.

I found a file converter on that site and it works well, I down loaded it on my old computer and flipped the file then added the clip to my current project. Thanks for the tip on the site.
