I have recently upgraded to EMC9 from an earlier version. Since upgrading, I have experience an issue with the Slideshow Assistant in that I am unable to add photos. Either I get an error:
Test String
StringRef:AlbumBrowser.UnableToLoad
or nothing happens (even if left for hours) - the photos are not added, the Assistant screen stays white, no error message appears. On exiting, you get a "you have not completed the wizard, are you sure" type msg.
This issue occurs when using the Slideshow Assistant from both MyDVD and Video Wave. I am able to add photos directly ino Video Wave without a problem.
I have ensured I have the latest video driver from NVIDIA but to no avail.
Any help/direction is very gratefully received as it's driving me mad!

Hadn't seen anyone with exactly the same issue as me, however having posted my issue, I noticed that a common resolution to many problems was to perform a Clean Installation of Easy Media Creator.
I followed the very clear instructions available and, whilst it took several hours to complete, am happy to say it worked and EMC now appears to be working without a problem!
