Question #1
Is it possible to make a bootable CD/DVD from a spanned set of 2 1.44MB floppies?
Backround
In the past I have used a single ms-dos formatted floppy with the DOS version of Ghost.exe (v7.0) to make a bootable CD with ghost image files on it to clone machines. I am evaluating ghost v11 and the DOS version of ghost.exe is now bigger so the Ghost Solution Suite v2.01 will create a set of 2 floppies where ghost.exe is spanned across both discs. This is annoying but still usuable on computers with floppies but all of our new systems of course do not come with floppies anymore. Hence the need to make a bootable CD/DVD from 2 floppies.
Question #2
If #1 is not possible can I make an ISO file from my two floppies and read the ISO file in to make the bootable CD/DVD. Could I duplicate the floppy files on to the hard disc and read that to make an ISO file?
I am evaluating the basic version of Create basic v9.0 and don't see a way to do it there.
Ghost ss2.0 has a mechanism to create ISO files from a wizard but the generated files (config.sys, etc.) cannot be manually edited and I have to edit the wizard generated files for them to work for our purposes.
Thanks

I think the problem would be that the ghost.exe file is spanned across 2 disks.
I was just reading something on Ghost Solution Suite 2 and it says you can make a bootable cd.Have you tried this instead of using diskettes?I don't have the program so I can't actually try it.
I'm not sure what would happen if you just tried to copy the 2 floppies on to your drive and then make an image. If you could do that I would think you should just be able to add them into a Creator Classic project and do the same thing without having to do an image from your hard drive.Give it a try and see what happens.Use an R/W disc so you're not making useless coasters.
