I converted a DVD to avi and imported and trimmed the video into MyDVD (using EMC9) I see the video in the storyboard and I have audio, but when I preview the production, all I get is the audio and the video doesn't play.
I am running Windows XP. I have a NVDIA GeForce 4 card and I have already updated my video driver. In fact I had to do the whole uninstall thing using John's (and tips from the DG) weblink, then reinstalled. Everything is working much better except for this glitch.
Please help!!

In MyDVD, go to the top menu and go to tools then options and then put a dot near software. It may work but that GF 4 is pretty old and just marginal. Also update DirectX 9c. Again that card may not handle ot.
How did you convert the DVD to an AVI file? Do you mean you captured it? If so how?
