In slideshow assistant created a project and added photos and audio tracks (MP3). They all show up but there is no audio when you preview either in the assistant or video wave or MY DVD. The audio files do work in the aduio section of EMC9. They were ripped from music cd's with EMC9.
Any help would be appreciated. My daughter just was married and I want to send some pic's out with some of the wedding music.

Don't use the Assistant. Use VideoWave instead, to see if all works there.

Thanks, just tried that but no dice. Thought that maybe the install was bad or corrupt as it was done online so I removed the program and re-installed from disk, still no luck. All Mute buttons are off and the same audio files will play in the Audio portion of EMC9 and Windows media. Don't figure, just like to know what I'm missing!

Installed online?
Roxio has an option to purchase direct online with a DL of the product, then they send you the back up disks. My Father had passed away and I needed the software quick to make a DVD presentation for the wake, hey no software stores were open at 3:30 in the morning!
Thanks GPBruce for trying to help.

Ahhhh. Did you back up the downloaded files? You should have two files, one for the main program and one for the content.
And, sorry about your father.

In VideoWave, try highlighting the audio track by clicking on it once. Then hit the Speaker Icon just above. Then close it.
I have experienced that sometimes my music or any audio track I insert loses it's sound that this will fix it.
But then mine usually is fine after insertion into VW, and after working on project for a bit and review, the audio is silent. This always clears it up for me and I have no idea where the issues lies......or I'd fix it!

Any help would be appreciated. My daughter just was married and I want to send some pic's out with some of the wedding music.

Sometimes the program doesn't like those mp3 files. Load them into Sound Editor to export them as wav files. This almost always works.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
