I purchased EMC 9 Suite and wanted to know if MyDVD9 will support DVD+R as well as DVD-R I am planning to  make some DVD's of old movies and wanted to use my Double Layer discs but in the help file it said EMC9 will work with Dual Layer discs but I did not see anything about Double Layer discs

Yes.

Your burner must also support them.

Double Layer (DVD+RW DL) are fully support and have been for some time.

Dual Layer (DVD-RW DL) discs came along much latter and are mostly supported… The only thing  you cannot do with one in V9 is write a Data Disc using Sessions. Otherwise it will handle –RW DL just like any other disc.
