1. I cannot import .avi files from my computer despite the fact I am told that these are compatible with MyDVD. There is a supposed fix for this in your Knowledge Base but I don't get very far into it. It tells me to remove the divxdec.ax file from the System 32 menu and then reinstall Roxio but when I do that, it does not install a DivXDec.ax file into my System 32 menu as it says it will in the instructions.

2. I have imported some VOB files into a project but they do not have any audio when I go to preview them. However, if I play these VOB files in something like Windows Media Player, the sound comes through fine.

3. If I burn a DVD and put it into my DVD player, it is impossible for me to navigate the menus. When I try to use the up and down arrows, I get "Invalid Key". When I use it in my computer's DVD player, I can only navigate by using the up and down arrows on the keyboard, and not with the mouse/touchpad.

I am using a Dell Inspiron with Vista Premium.

Any help for any of the above would be greatly appreciated.

1.  See you other thread.  I have no problems with .avi files working with Roxio, but they aren't divx.  Also, since this is a users forum, it is not our knowledge base.  You aren't talking to Roxio, on these forums, unless someone with a Roxio icon by their name, responds to your post.

2.  Where did he .vob files originate?

3.  What program, in the suite, did you use to burn to a DVD?  Did you try burning to an image file first, then to a DVD with Disc Copier?
Life is good!
