I had a terribletime installing EMC9...crashes and reboots...now that I have it in, and its not causing the whole system to crumble, I'm having other issues
1. most of the time it doesn't acknowledge that a disc is in the drive - asks for a blank disc to be inserted, even though a screen has come up (from Drag/Disc ?) that reads "blank disc"
2. if it *does* recognise that a disc is in the drive, it reads it as full...every disc is full
3. did manage to burn one DVD, but had set it up to make two copies...it hung as soon as the first copy was finished...had to use task manager to close it down
4. drag/disc doesn't recignise a disc in the drive, but repeatedly asks for one to be inserted
EMC9 - doesn't recognise a disc

I'd remove Drag to Disc and see if my troubles disappeared. It's useless IMO.
