My movies play great on most of my players, but not on  my newest one, are there adjustments to be made on new players??

Some players don't seem to like home made dvd's but you should try the brand recommended by the manufacturer.  Also, some people think that encoding to an ISO then burning that ISO to disk allows for better compatibility.  I can't prove it but have had older players that gave me less trouble with discs done this way than burning directly to disc.
