I just got roxio easy creator 9 deluxe suite and when I use it and try to do antything after I load the video, it freezes up and I have to shut it down. Is there anyone else experiencing this? Anyone with suggestions, I am getting real frustrated.

There are a couple possibilities.  First if you just installed EMC 9 it might be trying to index all the media (pictures, songs, videos) on your system via the media manager.  If you dont mind, give it a while and it will finish.  If you dont want it, just disable the media manager.
Also, give us some details on your system specs and we can give you some additional possibilities.

My spec is AMD 64 2GHz on a Geforce4 mobo (Asus K8N4). 2Gb Ram, 400Gb of disc at least 250Gb free. Nvidia Geforce 7300GT graphics. AVG antivirus. Was pretty quick on WindowsXP but is so slow on Vista32 using VideoWave 9 that if you drag the cursor in timeline you have to go away to let it catch up. The disc thrashes all this time even though I defragment it.

Your specs are pretty close to the recommended minimum for Vista - it takes a lot more resources than XP even to run (which is one reason I ain't going to let it loose on my machine)
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

They're at least twice the minimum spec on every aspect

Disable Roxwatch and Drag to Disc, via msconfig.

How would I do this. I got it to run last night for about an hour worked great. Now today it is freezing again.
My system is a pentium d 3ghz processor, 250 gig hard drive

Go to Start, click on run, type in msconfig, the click on the startup tab, and uncheck any box that refers to Roxio.  Click Apply, and back out.  Reboot, and put a check in the box in the lower left corner on the popup you see, once you get back into Windows.

You can probably uncheck most boxes you have in the Startup tab, but start with the Roxio ones only.
