Is there any way to increase the volume level when converting using Crunch?

The volume is not loud enough on the iPhone after standard conversion, even with the volume level all the way up.

[also, can it stop dumping it's .m4v in the movies directory when I specifically asked it to dump in iTunes]?

Thanks smile.gif

I don't know what could be the reason for the low audio. You might try clicking the Options button and then Custom to check if there is a different audio track to select that may have better volume. Usually, though, there is just one audio track that is in your preferred language and doesn't include the commentary.

As for the file location. I think Crunch has to create the file outside of the iTunes folder. When it is done the file is automatically copied into your iTunes folder (if you choose that option). After that you can trash the one written in your Movies folder.

I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

Maybe there should be a way to increase volume level (while leaving all other settings the way they are)?? Using custom, you are unable to change most of the audio settings.

[also, there should be an automated way to dump those files created before moving it into iTunes. I didn't even know they were located in my movies folder, I just happen to go in it, and found 10 old compressed movies in there]
