I am trying to make a DVD of a friends wedding.

I have a 3 minute slideshow that I want to accompany with 3 different 1 minute songs.

In the music program I edited 3- 3 minute songs down to one minute each by using a fade out.

I saved the file but it doenst save in MP3 format and I cant add it to the slide show.

I believe this should be a relatively simple process. Can anyone tell me what I am missing?

Use Sound Editor to edit the songs, then click on File/Export Current Clip, or Mix, depending on whether or not you have joined the clips together.

You will get a prompt of where to save it and what format you want to use for the saved file.
