eMac, Superdrive, iLife.

I have just bought Toast 7 as a Download.
One of the options at the start was to have Toast 7 open when I inserted a disc. I now realise that I don’t want this option but would like to choose either Toast 7 or the burn option within iTunes etc.

How do I deselect the “Open when disc is inserted”?

I opened Preferences when Toast was open but the Deslect option was not on view.

Also, I have burnt the Download of Toast 7 to disc by dragging and dropping the Toast 7 Folder from my Hard Disc to Toast. - Again I couldn’t find any info on making a backup disc of Toast 7 in the Manual. Is this a valid way to make a Backup Disc of Toast?

I have Toast 6 Lite installed on my Hard Disc. Can I just drag the six folders of Toast 6 Lite to the Trash or are there any hidden files that also have to be trashed?

cheers

Open System Preferences and choose the CDs and DVDs panel. There you'll see the settings for what you want to have happen when you insert a blank CD or DVD. I suggest choosing "Do Nothing." You'll then be able to manually launch and burn with either iTunes or Toast.

That should work fine.

You can leave both versions on your Mac if you like or simply trash the Toast 6 Lite folder to delete it.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
