I have Windows Vista Home Premium and Roxio Creator 9 Home Version: 9.0.088.  Since installing it on my Vista computer, I have not been able to open CinePlayer or Media Experience.  If I click on either program from the "home" screen, it just opens the home screen again.  If I click on it from the start menu, nothing happens at all.

I was hoping to be able to use one of these programs to view a home video I had captured from a digital video camera (using Roxio) since Windows Media Player 11 won't run an mpg file either, but nothing's working.

Any suggestions?

Ooops... just realized that my info on my computer is outdated.  I am now running EMC9 in Windows Vista (32), AMD Athlon 64X2 processor 5000+ 2.60 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE, 320 GB HDD, Dual channel 2942 MB DDR2
Dell Dimension 4300
Windows XP Home, version 2002 (SP2 and all other updates installed)
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 1.60GHz
1.59 GHz, 512MB RAM
80 GB HDD with 120 GB secondary HDD and 160 GB external HDD
NVIDIA GeForce2 MX (updated drivers)
TDK DVDRW040N DVD/CD-ROM (current driver/firmware)
Microsoft IE 7 (current version)
DirectX 9.0 installed
all drivers/firmware that I'm aware of are all updated
I've uninstalled all of the EMC9.0 programs that I don't think I'll be using
