I have a G5 powermac. I recently upgraded to Tiger 10.4.10 and now my Toast 6 will not open. I upgraded to Toast 6.1.1 and it still does not open. I have removed the plist from the preference file and that did not help. Does anyone have any suggestions besides purchasing Toast 8.

Thanks.

I downloaded and reinstalled the latest version of Toast 6 and now toast works. "Which came first the chicken or the egg?"

Did you ever get an answer to your query?

I have the same problem but now believe it is related to external Firewire drives. If I unplug them Toast works fine. I suspect the same problem occurs even with Toast 7 and 8.

I suspect the problem may be overcome by reformatting the external drives in Mac Extended OS which is something I will try in the next few days. Maybe worth lobbying Roxio and Apple to either resolve this issue with a patch, or at least issue a warning that the problem exists.
Hope that helps you or anyone searching this forum.
